Realistic Living for Realistic People
What's the deal with the assumption that organized people live in perfect worlds? Especially Professional Organizers!
I would like to set the record for those of you who think that any organizer lives in a glass house or a picture perfect palace...
I am the mother of two young boys who love Lego's, hot wheels, trucks, tools, fake food, books and well... so very much more. I am also the wife and proud owner of a 14 year old dog and 8 year old cat (whom both shed.... a lot!). I am a stay home mom who does playgroups, school trips and library story times, along with the standard chores of maintaining a household... grocery, dry cleaning, drug store trips... all with children in tow. Our van is littered with all the random items that slowly dribble their way into the small space through the course of the week and let's not forget the hats, coats, cups and teddy grahams that find there way in the seats as well. I am also a small business owner trying to juggle all of those responsibilities along with my family priorities. Don't even get me started with the kids bathroom.
So as you can see... my life is filled with all the same struggles that every average family faces each day. Some days I am so exhausted that the thought of cleaning up the kids toys or breaking out the vacuuming cleaner is the last thing from my mind.
By no way am I asking for sympathy... I just want you all to know that I too have life struggles and daily struggles.
The nice thing is that... tomorrow is another day.
