Confessions of an Organizer: Part 2 "The Holding Pattern"
Do you ever feel like some days that you HAVE NO PATIENCE.
This is definitely a weakness of mine! I like to plan things out and
have a game plan... I am slowly learning (or I am really being forced
to accept that I need to work at patience) that I might just have to
have some patience.
As the story continues.... Our hero aka "My Husband" has in the last two weeks... closed the store he has worked at for the last 15 years, transferred to a new store... 70 minutes away. The process has been a little challenging... dialing in the drive time, routes etc., but all in all I think we might survive it. With this new store comes a whole new team and set of challenges that he has to overcome... so I am sure that in time he will really come to like it.
Now our heroin... this is a different story. Here is where the patience (or lack of) comes into play. I have not had as good of transition. I have been a bit of a... oh, shall we say... brat maybe? I have been feeling a bit sorry for myself and frankly maybe a little selfish. I am starting to understand that when we are faced with these types of situations we have to trust that things will work out for the best... and that no matter what... we need to find gratitude in what we have...
So for now there are no Realtors on our radar, just early mornings and late dinners... at least that's my story for today...
Stay tuned in the coming weeks... we might have yet another big "change" to deal with...
