4 Steps to Start Getting Organized

Do you ever wonder where to begin when thinking you need to get organized?
Do you struggle to find the energy to know where to start?

First, if you like to read and are looking for a few good books let me just say that Julie Morganstern has some awesome books on time management and getting organized. Julie is a pioneer in our industry and has coined the S-P-A-C-E Method. She is a great place to start when looking for some "light" reading on getting organized.

Any who.. back to my subject... Here are my three steps to help you start getting organized.

1. Break down the project into manageable pieces. An entire room may look like a lot, but if you break it down into smaller projects it doesn't seem as big.
2. Dedicate time to working towards the end result. If you don't dedicate or commit some time to getting it done... it won't!
3. Make a list don't think that you will remember everything all the time. A things to do list can make or break the success of a project.
4. Reward yourself when you get things done. If you managed to get through a stack of magazines... feel the accomplishment! Great Job... You got something done!
