Confessions of an Organizer: Part 3 - "Wheels are Turning"

The engine started and the wheels are turning (can you tell we like cars in our house?)....

Well, if you have read my past posts on "Confessions of An Organizer..." you will know that we have been on an up and down roller coaster for the last 5 months (which seems like forever). The things that I have learned through this process have been that patience is key, communication makes things better... and most of all... we just need to enjoy the ride!

At this point, we have dates of job changes... the construction team has been coming into my husbands new store (well not so new anymore...) and we are actually talking about "the move."

How does this affect an organizer? Well, as someone who likes to have all the basis covered... I just have to learn to roll with it. I can only work with what I can control... and I can't control everything....

I have started the punch list of things that need to be done here in the house (I can control that)... we have made a few trips to Lowe's and Home Depot to get those improvement projects completed/started. Believe me... after living in this house for 10+ years... we really need to give this house some love.

What's next?

Well, we are coming into the winter months... long rainy days in the Pacific Northwest, icy drives in the Columbia Gorge and lots of time to think about what's next. Stay tuned...
