I got a new planner!
I never thought in my whole life that my schedule would revolve around the school year. With having the kids, I have found that really... the year begins in September. I have been talking a lot recently about schedules, summer ending (boo-hoo) and getting... well... organized.
I am thrilled to tell you I have gotten my new planner. It's so hot I can't hardly stand it. I decided this year to go a little wild and step out on a leopard print... the kindergartner's are going to think I am so cool!
Ha!!!!
Since changing over from electronic to paper last year, I have to say I don't think I will ever go back. Today, as I was perusing through a few of my magazines, I came across a website called Cozi. Talk about high tech!! I think when my kids are older and there is a lot more to coordinator (not to mention the kids probably won't actually talk to me... they will just text me) I could see using something like that.
Sorry, lost my train of thought...
I use a momAgenda desktop planner (retails for about $42.00). They come in a variety of colors and have a week-at-a-view format with space for mom and up to four children. plus monthly views too. You run on the school year starting in August through December of the next year. What do I love about my paper planner.
1. My address book and phone list actually transfers into the new book as a separate attachment so there is no "re-writing" involved in that department...
2. A new book with a new format that is much more user friendly.
3. I use pencil which reminds me of when I was 10, not to mention it's easy to make changes without the "scribble-dibbles" as my son likes to say and finally...
4. It is so nice to look at a weekly view (or month view) within seconds. It makes scheduling so much easier to plan.
With the number of overlaps in our family... you need to see it all! What kind of planner do you use?

I have just converted to electronic from paper successfully thanks to the itouch! I can finally see a color coded, easy to read screen. It's a little slower on the adding things department, but I love having it with me and I love having a back up!!! I syncs through some miracle uber-geek system apple calls mobile me. I don't even have to connect it.. it just flies through the air. I love technology.
