FRIDAY FINDS: a good pencil is hard to find

Welcome to your Friday Finds... here I will share with you a new product or service that I think is helpful, practical and a good use of organization!!! I am not one to push products on people, unless I really think they are worth sharing!

If you use pencils as much as I do, you know a good thing when you find one and today, I have two!

It was back in 2007, when I met the Crystal Pencil. At first, I thought... it's just a pencil, but NO... this is not just any pencil! It really is the most perfect pencil on this earth.

It handles well and is unmatched in it's performance. It sharpens perfectly each and every time and it sparkles like all fine accessories should. Each pencil is topped with a STRASS® Swarovski® Crystal. It's a little on the spendy side, but it's the most fabulous pencil I have ever used!

Russell + Hazel

Although I do love my Crystal Pencil... The Tree Lover Graphite Pencil runs a close comparison. What I love about the Tree Lover is that it writes perfectly, sharpens well and is made from FSC certified California-incense cedar, which means it's an environmentally happy pencil... and it's affordable! You really can't beat that!

Megan, I'm like that with pens. My current favourite (for the last year or so) is the Pilot G-2 0.7 point. It is YUMMY! They are expensive (R20 as opposed to R8,99 for 2 normal gel pens) but oh so worth it. I have them in all colours

Loved this post. I'm all about enjoying the little things in life, and being a writer, our utensil of choice is a definitely a luxury worth enjoying. However, with the economic situation being as it is, and everyone's budgets having tightened drastically over the last year, I appreciate that you provided a more practical, cost efficient choice. I do hope to own a crystal pencil at some point, but for now, I'll be sticking with the frugal choice.
