Show Me Your Desk... Challenge!
I think it was early last year when I got "tagged" for the planner challenge, and that is when I met the Organising Queen. Marcia, who lives in South Africa has, over the last few years, become one of dearest "virtual" friends. I swear that one day we will meet face to face. Anywho, Marcia is doing a fun little challenge to show off your desk, so I of course, have to jump in!!!!
Here is my work desk
(below), which is just off the kitchen in my house. What I see as the key components for a functional work desk are as follows:
- a telephone
- computer with multiple plug in's
- desktop filing
- writing utensils
- bulletin board
- change jar
What do I like about my workstation?
My desktop file station is a key piece on my desk (besides my laptop, that is obviously important). Things like my things to do file, magazines to be read and my handy spiral for notes is kept here in on my desktop.
I love having the above storage for phone books, blank envelopes and my stapler.
Being able to post things on the bulletin board allows me to expand on my need for visual stimulation (do you see the good wife guide on my bulletin board?)
So that's it, my desk. Now it's your turn... why don't you share yours... send me a link to your blog post and we can do the go round again! Thanks Marcia...
