YES TO LESS: Not to Do List

If you have read my past posts about Say Yes to Less in 2009 (there have only been two so you haven't missed much), you know I really want to work hard on doing less of the stuff I don't need to do, so I can do more of the stuff I want to do!

I thought it ironic that even Real Simple is all about the Not To Do List in the January issue... do you see a common theme here people?

To start my year off on the right foot, my first goal is to create my vision board (finally). I have talked about this before and even was challenged to get it done, but never did.

GOAL #1 - Complete vision board

I see the best way to know what I DON'T want, is to know what I DO want and by establishing my goals, so...

GOAL #2 - Complete my goal setting for 2009

As it stands right now my short list of things I would like to quite doing is as follows:

1. Spend less money in gas.
2. Watch less TV.
3. Quit commercial shopping and go local.
4. Putting off me time and dedicating time for me.

JANUARY GOAL: SAY YES to creating my vision board for 2009 and finish my goals for the year.

Do you have goals for the year? What is your most important goal?

A little reverse organizing psychology! I like it.

I think mine need to be: I will waste less calories/less money on soda, spend more time exercising, start remembering to use anti-aging eye creme every night (not getting any younger!), and waste less time surfing on the net.

The "Not To Do" list is like New Year's Resolutions...but you can do them any time of year!
