Documentary: Seven Dumpsters and a Corpse
Who would have thought we would come across this little documentary. The title got me interested, so my curiosity got the best of me and we proceeded to watch. If you have any curiosity about the issue of hoarding, you can check it out on YouTube here...

I have an amazing amount of respect for the two brothers who so graciously documented their process of dealing with not only the loss of their mother, but the daunting process of her lifestyle as a hoarder.
This process always brings a set of mixed emotions for me, sadness for the family and curiosity for the reasons why.
What was truly impressive what their ability to, day after day for over two weeks submerge themselves in the process of sorting. Heavy story for a lazy Sunday afternoon.
I'd be interested to see the whole thing, but I looked at the website and it cost 81 euro. 100 bucks is a little much! Did you watch the whole doc or just this clip? You're right, though...it brings up a mixture of feelings...
I believe I did see the whole thing on the Documentary channel. It was really amazing and overwhelming all at the same time. When you get past the forensic trauma, it reaches a whole other level of curiosity. I was really amazed at their stamina...
It only cost me £1 to watch on the site (approx $1.50?). I found it a moving, but difficult film to watch. But thanks for letting me know about it, I appreciate its sensitive portrayal of a difficult subject.
I saw a write up on this on Chaotic Kitten´s blog. I am going to try and make time to watch it tomorrow. The price to watch it online seems reasonable and the subject of course fascinating!
